I'm still in post-grad purgatory, living at home & trying to find a job. The only art I've really done lately is creating 2 volumes of a zine. Really need to finish up a couple of pieces for other zines, actually...maybe I'll get some new work uploaded after all.

Heh, my 7th dAnniversary is coming up next month. Crazy!

Just another sporadic update so you guys know I'm still around on earth.

I am still jobless and living in Ohio with my dad, stepmom, and little half-sisters. My mom is still living in Tennessee with our adorable cat who will be 1 year old at 12:59am tomorrow.

I haven't made any real art in a while other than some random doodles and crafty handsewn good luck charms. I think a lot of the reason I haven't drawn much over the last few years is similar to Moko's---> lack of a good COLOR printer (see: [link]). I got so much inspiration from the internet and other artists but I'm very visual and while yeah, I spent a lot of time at the computer, it was mostly for school stuff. It's a lot different to have something pretty on the screen and to have a hard copy in the flesh. I like to surround myself with my inspiration and it was pretty much impossible to do at school. Now I've got 2 decent color printers to work with BUT a lame internet connection and my own laptop has been non-functional for holycrapTHREE MONTHS. Reason #875 why I need a job. :/

Also didn't get an interview for the JET Program but still looking for other ways to get to Japan.

I swear, every time I come back to dA there's a new interface. Pain in the butt. :<
I promise that this year I'll make more REAL art though. So much I've put off or wanted to do but couldn't...well not in 2009. *determined*

My 6th deviantArtiversary has passed. Hard to believe I've been on this site so long, even though the last couple of years in particular haven't been very active for me on the art front.

I'm probably going to start going through old journal entries and deviations and clearing things off. Belated spring cleaning, you know. I meant to do it over the summer but just couldn't be arsed to get onto dA, especially with the new format change AGAIN.

Life updates:
I'm on the tail end of a sinus infection.
Still jobless & living with Dad.
My life is pretty boring.

It's nothing of a life-or-death matter but PLEASE for the love of cake-does anyone know how to mass-delete journal entries on dA? I cannot for the life of me find anywhere to do it and I've got 58 pages of my old drivel to sort through. >_< I'm in kind of a spring-cleaning mode at the moment...

Anyway. College is over and I'm still jobless BUT I can very faintly sense the artist part of me creeping back. I hope my intuition is right...feels like that part of me has been gone all too long.

Also, went to Disneyworld and had an epic time. Still looking to work in Japan at some point in the future, though far from permanently. I'll be applying for JET again this next year so we'll see what happens.

I don't know if anyone still keeps up with this, but I miss some of you very much. (._.)

I'm graduating from university on Saturday morning and will subsequently be taking a hiatus from dA (and most of the rest of the internet) for the summer, possibly longer. I'll be doing a lot of job-searching and such but also plan to get back into drawing and making cute crafts. We'll see what happens but I'll try to post some new art eventually.
